By bringing familes and their community together through soccer and other activities the New Futures after-school youth activities program held another successful event at the Starfire Sports Campus January. With over 20 families in attendance New Futures hosts another successful Family night on the indoor fields.

Every Thursday from 3-5pm Starfire Sports hosts a youth drop-in program for kids ages 14-18 years old.  Playing King’s Court 3v3 style drop-in this program continues to grow. “Free” for Starfire members or $5 for non-members.  Come on out and get some extra touches on the ball!

On January 20, 2011 Starfire Sports Outreach department received a wonderful donation of 5 full sets of Diadora uniforms from WSSA.  This gift of soccer uniforms have already been able to outfit 2 new local under-resourced soccer teams from Renton.

Donations of used soccer equipment are collected all year long.  If you have items you’d like to donate please drop them by our front desk anytime.  Or if you have a team or player in need of gear please feel free to contact us and we’d be happy to get them outfitted.
