A new year brings new teams to our Men’s Indoor Soccer League! Old English and Bellevue FC took to the Starfire pitch for the first time for our first Game of the Week of 2015. Bellevue FC put up a solid fight, but Old English came to win, and nabbed the 8-3 victory to start their season.

Game of the Week (12/7/2014): Blue vs Rainier FC
Blue and Rainier FC faced off in the Men’s B Indoor Championship for this week’s Game of the Week. Both teams came to play, each scoring five goals in regulation to send the match into golden goal overtime. In the end, it would be Blue who would score first to take the title.
Game of the Week (11/30/14): Abe Forman vs. Filthy
This Game of the Week brings you a thrilling playoff match between Abe Froman and Filthy of our Friday Coed C indoor soccer league. Abe Froman claimed 2nd in the West division standings to advance to the semifinals against the top team in the East, Filthy. In thrilling fashion, Abe Froman claimed the 8-7 victory to earn their spot in championships against Not So Young Studs, who beat out the West’s #1 team, Purple Reign in playoffs.
Game of the Week (11/16/14): Seattle Stars vs AC Seattle
Seattle Stars and AC Seattle faced off in the semifinals of the Premier Division of our SPSL competitive men’s soccer league. After tying 2-2 in their regular-season matchup one week prior, another tight battle ensued. In this higher-scoring affair, it would be AC Seattle who would come out on top to advance to the finals, besting Seattle Stars 5-4.
Game of the Week (11/9/2014): MJ’s Neverland Adventures vs Hadouken!
Teams braved frigid temperatures in our Wednesday Coed Adult Outdoor 8v8 Soccer League for this week’s Game of the Week. MJ’s and Hadouken both put on a show of footwork and passing skill, but it was Hadouken! who took the 2-0 win to maintain their undefeated record.
Game of the Week (11/2/2014): Package Smashers vs Sweaty Bawlers
In this week’s Game of the Week, Package Smashers and Sweaty Bawlers battled it out in our Sunday Coed D Indoor Soccer League. Despite a solid fight from the Bawlers, Package Smashers secured a comfortable victory, outscoring their competitors 9-2.
Game of the Week (10/26/2014): ECS La Barra vs Fourteen Shades of Blue
In our Thursday coed rec 8v8 league, ECS La Barra and Fourteen Shades of Blue played out a tense 2-2 tie. Headed into half time down a goal, ECS La Barra fought hard to take the 2-1 lead, but Fourteen Shades of Blue landed one in the back of the net in the final minutes to secure the tie.
Game of the Week (10/19/2014): Emerald City vs Rebels
Emerald City and Rebels duked it out in our Tuesday Men’s 8v8 league for this week’s Game of the Week. As predicted in Erik’s pre-game interview, Rebels nabbed their first win of the season as they topped Emerald City 6-4.
Game of the Week (10/12/2014): Surf Monkeys vs Globestars FC
Starfire regulars, Surf Monkeys and Globestars FC, took to our 8v8 fields for this week’s Game of the Week. Despite a strong fight from Globestars, Surf Monkeys secured a 5-0 win.
